Medellín Colombia – February 7th, 2023
LADIES OF LIBERTY ALLIANCE (LOLA) is a network of independent and classical or libertarian women leaders who, through their careers and/or personal efforts, are dedicated to spreading the ideas of economic and individual freedom, with the goal of achieving a much freer society. Founded on a principle in 2009, LOLA addresses the shortage of women in the fight for freedom, with the intention of encouraging and supporting them to stay committed to the liberal philosophy, presenting freedom to new faces, and elevating their work through leadership and training opportunities. This network remains active in the form of local LOLA Social Chapters.
On another hand, EL BASTIÓN was born in 2020 as a refuge from the current information storm: a refuge for criticism, analysis, and freedom of art and expression. In this medium, substance takes precedence over form and reason over media sensationalism, with a group of builders and opinion makers whose philosophical and political-economic bases are rooted in classical and libertarian liberalism; therefore, EL BASTIÓN fiercely defends the three (3) fundamental rights of the people: life, liberty, and private property, and considers the free market to be a mechanism for verifying moral premises.
LOLA and EL BASTIÓN, aware that one of the first values on which liberalism is based, which both organizations promote, is legal equality or equality before the law, and that feminism, as originally conceived, was nothing more than a branch of that liberalism in question, besides many other similarities that put us in synergy, are pleased to inform you that we have sealed a formal alliance today seeking to inform correctly and objectively and generate impact and opinion on the different scenarios that occur spontaneously in Colombia and the rest of Latin America, in order to contribute to the creation of the free society that our high-quality teams yearn for. Among others, any LOLA member who wishes to belong to the staff of columnists and collaborators of EL BASTIÓN can do so for both the opinion and the analysis from a liberal perspective to be ratified and remain.
At LOLA and EL BASTIÓN, we have made it our mission to educate and empower feminine leadership within the freedom movement, to reclaim free market capitalism as the best ally of women, and to further strengthen criticism and analysis.
We hope our alliance is to your total satisfaction and brings numerous benefits to both parties.
